They have been calling me for 2 years looking for someone called John (I'm not John). I have told them they have the wrong number and to stop calling. When I answer and say they have the wrong number, they hang up on me. If I call the number back they refuse to say what company they are from or who I'm talking to. They say the have no record of my phone number. I tell them I called the number back that just called me and they say I must be wrong and then hang up on me. I filed a complaint and they said they have never called me, despite my call history showing thousands of calls from them over 2 years.

Absolute criminals.

Tried calling back no answer, might say debt collector but I know of people being told they owe money and they set up payments and who ever these collectors are they take more money than owed and keep doing it. If legit they should email or mail all details of themselves and who, what, and when you owed money. Just some advice or ask a financial advisor
