I spoke with them, and have received calls from people claiming to be the same company three times over the past two and a half years. Claiming I have outstanding fees through Optus, when I’ve never had an account nor could Optus find anything with my details showing anything overdue (because I’ve never had a phone line with them). They repeatedly asked for my details (date of birth and address) and one time mentioned a random suburb of never lived in on their system. I had a lawyer friend with me when they called today.. she informed me that if someone was trying to get money they would contact by letter and would tell you where they’re from (which they refused to do) and wouldn’t be asking for details just be calling everyone they can to pay up.

I've had numerous calls from this number. When I've tried calling back previously it says the call cannot be connected. When I called back today a woman with a foreign accent answered and said her name was "Devinda" (?). I asked where she was from but she said she couldn't tell me because I had hidden my number but said "their" head office was in Sydney. I told her the number that called was a Hobart number and she said they have "offices in all different States", she wanted me to give her my mobile number so she could tell me the company name. I said no as I've been received lots of scam calls and texts. My private info has been involved in 4 security breaches involving 3 well known companies in the past 2 years.

I've been receiving calls from this number for months now. The first call is often followed by another call within half an hour. Also received calls from the same number except for the last digit which has changed. I do not answer the calls.

This number rings me constantly but I dont answer the call. Have tried to ring back but get recorded message "Optus regrets this number is not in service"
