Caller: Claiming to be from National Advice Network This knew my name and number and no other details.
They claimed to be from the National Advice Network and said that I was expecting a call from a financial planner from Superannuation Advice Australia to receive a free service about my super and saving on insurance premiums.
I called them back to opt out and the man hung up on me. This definitely seems like a scam.
The callers appear to be a Filipino call centre trying to scam you.

I've had quite a few calls from the same 'people', thonly thing different is the last 2 digits in the number. You block one and they use a different number.

Telstra warning appeared on my phone saying it was a possible fraudulent call. I just declined. I don't answer any calls from unknown callers that are not in my contacts list. If they want to leave a message I might get back to them. But they never leave a message.

Scam, the person she asked to speak to is my moniker from Facebook account. Gee I wonder where they’re getting their personal info from!

They asked to speak my porn star name (first pet, first street you lived on) which is an alias fb account given I work in law enforcement. I started laughing and said "sounds like a pretty sh*t way to scam people given that's a fake name"... he replied "this is not a scam" and conveniently hung up.. don't answer

Caller: National Super Service - SCAM!!! I had them call me on this number and then this number (03) 6169 5527 I switch my mobile phone on private so they couldn't see my caller ID but when I called them back they said "National Super Service, am I speaking to (my name)" I tried this about 5 times on different photo number which they have used and each time they knew my mobile phone number even when it was on private, so they must have some kind of prite ID tracker

Think it's funny had a call from this number yesterday and after reading these comments blocked it. Had a call today from a different number (08) 6355 6610 and when I looked it up the comments of who was calling was the same as the comments from this number.

I hate how these overseas call centres think they are smart because they bypass the "do not call list". How do they get away with using aussie numbers to redirect?
