Person pretending they were from Telstra. She said my internet protection was having problems. I told her if she was from Telstra that she could email me with the details. She said she would and kept trying to get me to type something in my search bar.
She had rung twice last week as well, with the same speal and telling me to type something into my search bar on my computer. I looked it up and it was a scam (sorry, I can't remember what it was that she wanted me to type in).
So, today I told her to get an honest job, and hung up.
She called back and said didn't I want my computer protected, and I said, no, and to stop scamming people - become honest, and hung up.
I called Telstra to report it, and they blocked her number, and told me it was defiantly a scam and they wouldn't do that type of thing on the phone, but would send an email of there was a concern.
