Caller: scammer May I speak to Mr ''my first name'' and I said yes. But he hung up immediately. Can they use my voice to do some fraud?

I answered and she said she was market research - I told them I am on do not call list and they aren't allowed to call me and asian woman screamed "I don't care bitch what does it even matter". I hung up.

Said they were calling from commonwealth bank, and needed to confirm a debit on my account for around a thousand dollars. I replied "I don't have a commonwealth account, so it sounds like you're a scammer, correct?" she thanked me for my time and hung up. So at least she was a polite scammer.

Caller: Scammers They knew my first name, and tried to scare me into giving them my details, without telling me at all who they were meant to be impersonating, so they could protect me from someone who was trying to “improperly “ use my identity to buy an iPhone. Scammers who can’t even be bothered trying to make their scam halfway believable.

Caller: The recorded message said they were ringing from Visa Sneaky buggers using an apparently local number, so I thought it would be ok to answer. Got a recorded message saying they were ringing about a couple of Visa transactions, one of which was a foreign transfer of over a thousand dollars. I hung up.
