I've been receiving the same calls from all different numbers. Now blocking them, but how can we get them to stop calling?

Filled out survey from Coles and receiving calls ever since. I've never answered and they never leave a message. Calling me 3 times a day from different numbers last week. I was also getting SMS from "Frank Brown" and "Michael P" saying I've won a prize and have a URL to click on which leads to a survey or another website for you to enter bank account details.
Now calling once a day from a different number everyday.

Some people have filled out surveys (for gift voucher or to be a mystery shopper) from Woolworths, Aldi, Jetstar, Virgin and have started receiving these calls also. These scams are on all the websites we use so beware!

Don't answer.
Some people are getting calls and emails.
People are saying that they want a recording of you saying YES so that they can use it for other purposes. Once they've heard you say YES they end the call.
Some people are saying that the caller is selling funeral/life/pet insurance or advising that they've won a competition or in the draw for $250 000 or an iphone.

Whether they are selling something, are a scam or want a recording of your voice, they are checking if your number is active and will keep calling if you keep answering.

One complainant has said that it may be an automated system that makes the calls and if you answer the call, the system puts your call through to a telemarketer. If you answer and don't say anything the system will hang up.

Do not call register doesn't work when they are calling from overseas. Apparently you can buy these Australian area code numbers online to route calls through.

Some people are saying you can block they're numbers by emailing consumercare @ brandsofchoice.com.au
but I don't want to risk sending an email and they realise it's active and they reply with spam or keep calling.

I've never answered and they never leave a message.

Dont answer. Once they have found an active number to call they will keep trying it even if you tell them to stop. Pretend your number is a dead end. If they don't get an answer they will give up.

I filled in a survey for Coles online and this is how they got my number a couple of days ago and they call every day. I've never answered their calls but they must assume they are calling an active number since I recently filled out their scam survey with my mobile number and my voicemail is me saying my name.

At least 3 calls every day from various landline numbers. Pointless blocking them as it is always a different number, including "private number". This all stems from being tricked into doing an online survey on the Dan Murphy website. This telemarketing company are relentless. I have registered my number on the "do not call" register and will change my number if it persists.

Entered a competition online for an Aldi $500 voucher, they made it look like it was from Aldi, found out it wasn’t, too late i had already given my email and mobile phone number. It was telemarketing Brands of choice and now they keep calling me from all different numbers and emails however I believe I have stopped the emails by reporting them as spam. So annoying frustrating can’t believe companies can get away with this!!! I did end up answering one of their calls and I expressed my frustration and anger and the guy didn’t give a sh*t he kept going trying to sell me life insurance!! Farken unbelievable!

I recently started doing online survey's, all details are suppose to be kept confidential! NOPE!! as now I am getting so many calls from this number and numerous others! so annoying! :( I know it has to be from doing the online survey's as the day I signed up for doing them, then all the annoying calls started! Never had it before! Just wanted to warn anyone who is doing the online survey's as that is where i think they are getting your phone numbers.

i am getting those numbers ringing me as well haven't answered any just blocking them as they keep changing numbers this site has helped me a lot thanks

Unknown keep calling at different times of day when answered they hung up and I have blocked their numbers but they ring on different numbers.
