Apparently a "manager" will call you back. But if you're ever lucky enough to get through to the number that called you, you can really push them to get your number off their listing.
They have to comply, especially if you tell them the number they called you on is one you NEVER distribute or use to sign-up, so that they only way they got it is via "harvesting" (which is illegal in Australia). Drop government body acronyms like ACMA and that will rattle them.

I called back number (03) 6122 0411 spoke to Mel and agent based in south africa was asking about my details like my mobile number and when it did not show on their system she ended the call.

I had several missed calls on my mobile from this number while at work. I called them back, initially went straight to hold music, and the woman asked if it was *myname but mispronounced* I asked who she was instead. Winning Choice. I'm on the do not call register and she's said she will put me back on their don't call list.
