I had a message on my answering machine stating there was a warrant out for an arrest for tax invasion they never gave a name for who it was for tried calling back the numbers engaged FRAUD all over it.

Left a message on my phone every day for the past week. Same bullsh*t story, from the tax office, investigated for tax fraud, gonna send the cops around to arrest me. Can barely understand him with that think Indian accent! Idiots.

Got the same message from Jason O'Connor (the name doesn't match the accent) last night to ring (03) 6107 9624 Rang the ATO and they this name has previously been reported as a scam.

SCAM ALERT - received call today, apparently I have an outstanding warrant for tax evasion LOL

The old tax scam job - saying they are going to send the police around re a fraud charge - they must think we're idiots!!!!

ATO scam says his name is Jason O"Connor pretty good name for an indian-Pakistani sounding person he makes legal @ arrest threats tell him to FOFF

They left a message on my answering machine at home telling me I was going to be arrested by Police for ATO tax evasion and need to call them. Number didnt work but if you dial without the 03 at the front it did get to "Jason O'Connor" from the ATO. I didnt talk, just hung up and contacted the fraud section of ATO to investigate. Dont get scammed by giving them any details like your real name or taxfile number etc.
