They said they were an Australian company called Offers Are Us or Offers R Us, to save on electricity I was now eligible for maximum discount. Asked for website? Told to google, repeated the question several times before line went silent (obviously in call centre) then came back and rattle off some website without spelling. Asked if Australian? Asked if the call centre was overseas? South Melbourne. Asked if they had any ACCC complaints against them? Had no idea what I was talking about. They do have a website under offers r us . com. au looks like they may be genuine.... But if your call centre that is obviously overseas then not interested.

I've given them the opportunity to leave a message; they don't, so I don't answer.

These scammers get a bot to call your number, as soon as you answer, it hangs up, seconds later this spam electricity company calls to offer you a so called better deal than what you are currently getting. By not doing business in an above board manner, they don't deserve our business, someone should look into creating a link for all of us to sign up to a petition to get these people banned from getting Australian business numbers, since theyre local state phone numbers, Telstra is responsible for handing them out the fools.

Kept calling over and over this app blocked it after the first 2 times, I just got missed call texts after that.

Caller: Electric company asking for the owner of the house

The caller know the name of the owner and asking about how much you pay for yr electricity

If they really really want to get me they can leave a message. They don't. Several different numbers as well as this one. Feel sorry for them, having to sink so low to make a living.
