FAKE ATO call, 5th time in the same amount of weeks.
Different number used at times. identifies as James Anderson or Peter Rollinson, The line is crackly and he speaks with an accent.
When I called back today (and actually got through, usually no one answers), and questioned him, asking for his supervisor he got offensive and hung up.
I called back again and I was polite and he started asking me to give tax details so I gave him 12345678910 as the tfn and he called me lots of names I can't print here.

Dirty banana eating monkey sh*t scammers....
Go get a real job @ 7 eleven or the local car wash and stop scamming people.

Called my wife today 31/07/17 and left her a message. As a pessimistic Pom I instantly googled it and told her not to call the number. Still going by James Anderson

I also had a ATO scam call from James Anderson (03) 5902 7986. I called back. This number is disconnected

"James Anderson" left me a msg to call immediately before a warrant is put out for my arrest regarding fraud and tax avoidance.
I no longer answer these calls from numbers I don't know, but I want to know why do they still come through when I'm on the Do Not Call register?!!!

Soooo, at first I was actually quite intimidated as he did say my name and address. All that was running through my head was maybe my accountant did something wrong. That was until he said I owed $7,600 and that it had to be settled by 1pm today! I then thought cool lets go. I asked his name again and he said James Anderson to which I then asked his employee number and details which then lead him to become very defensive and saying he did not need to give me those private details. I kept hanging up and he called me back 5 times! So I turned the tables and started calling him which I will continue to do just so he can get a taste of his own medicine.

Alive and well MR James Anderson. Seems these twitt's don't understand ATO comes out of? Canberra.

Just had a phone call from that number so I hung up the phone they said there is a warrant out for the arrest if we didn't ring back it is a load of bull sh*t

Scam, reported to ATO, they are aware of this number.

Still happening, sounds dodgy like he's reading a script. thought I'd check online, sounds like this dude gets around

July 13, 2017. So James Anderson is still at it. He left a message to call this number back to discuss our tax fraud before he issued a warrant. Does he think I'm an idiot?

Received the same phone call from a James Anderson saying he was from the ATO. The line is crackly, he speaks with an accent. He has told me he will ring back, but he will be receiving the same response as Sue gave him.

Claimed to be tax office and there is a warrant out for my arrest for fraud and deception.. let him waffle on for awhile and he asked if I had a Lawyer that he could send all the correspondence to... Told him I was a Lawyer.. he hung up.. Called him back, he hung up again.. now he has blocked my phone no :(.. I so wanted to annoy him like he annoyed me !

Just had the same call from James Anderson from a Blocked Caller ID. He left (03) 5902 7986 to call back. I was aware this was a scam but was curious to see what they would say. After playing along for about 30 seconds "James" cottoned on very quickly that he wasn't going to have any success. We then had a conversation about why he scams and he was quite unrepentant about scamming people who might be vulnerable. Pretty unpleasant guy. Hope Karma does a quick swirl around him

Had three calls from this number, accusing me of tax fraud!! They say it's James Anderson and says he is calling from the ATO.

Yep still happening today 11/7/17.
