Same scam about tax avoidance threatening legal action. He got me to drive to Coles to buy a iTunes gift card, at which point I realised it was a scam and hung up!

I just had this as a missed call. Message was from a Mark Anderson calling from the Australian Taxation Office, that a Legal Complaint had been filed in my name for Tax Fraud and Avoidance and that a Warrant would be put out in my name and to please call them on (03) 5902 7965. This is the first time I have had them ring my mobile. Last year I had nearly a dozen calls on my house phone. If you are unsure when you get this ring ATO use the number on the website and speak to them do not ring this number.

Receiving the same threatening calls. Used to call my land line until shut him down and now he rings my mobile - come through as a private number but they do leave the 03 contact number to call back. Naturally when you call them back to abuse them the mailbox is full and won't take the messge Pretty annoying I wish someone could pin them down the bastards.
