Called but didn't leave a message on my answering machine. My message says to call my mobile, but I haven't given that number on the machine. My friends know my number.

Claim they are from Telstra and my nbn is going to be cut off!! Disgrace!! Indian man who ended up laughing at me when I claimed he was a scammer!!!

Claimed to be from Telstra and that my internet connection was being hacked from overseas. As I did not agree with him he said that he was going to cut me internet off.

MALE WITH EUROPEAN ? ACCENT - CALLED ALLEDGED HE WAS FROM TELSTRA AND ADVISED THAT I WOULD BE WITHOUT INTERNET FOR AT LEAST 15 DAYS PROBABLY LONGER. I ASKED WHY ? HE ADVISED THAT THEY HAD
DETECTED THAT SOMEONE FROM OVERSEAS HAD BEEN HACKING INTO OUR INTERNET AND THEY HAD TO FIX IT !
I WAS ABOUT TO QUESTION HIM AND HE HUNG UP. I ATTEMPTED TO CALL BACK 3 TIMES AND ONLY RECIEVED AN ENGAGED SIGNAL. A FRIEND SUGGESTED THAT THEY KEEP YOU ON THE LINE FOR LONGER ENOUGH TO OBTAIN YOUR IP #.

said they (with Indian accents) that they were from Telstra FBI and Interpol and that my network had been hacked and needed access to catch the criminals, and having been having nbn difficulties over past three days allowed access. They loaded TeamViewer, FileHippo and GEEKtyper before I stopped it. Found out that interpol is interpool. Have deleted Google Chrome from my system, it is so dangerous.

Phoned around 6 times last few days hangs up when answering machine takes over, as do not answer numbers not recognised

Answered but no one spoke except for the comment "Thank you good bye". If you check the first part of the number "(03) 5562" shows that it is in the South Gippsland area of Victoria!.

Called twice - within a 10 minute time frame but hung up when answer machine responded

Caller didn't leave message and does not answer phone when called. I strongly believe that this call has to do with the Federal election.
