I received the same call as other have commented here. I missed the call, and I received a voicemail. It was a robotic voice, saying that if I dont return the call there will be an arrest warrant issued under my name

Same here - (03) 5488 0986. Didn't call back.

I had a missed call today from this number.I called t back and it was answered though they did not identify themselves.Background noise suggested call centre. Called back again outside business hours hoping to get voicemail or recorded message. Response was Call not be connected. Obviously scammer or marketer.

same today - called ATO result: they confirmed its scam

Says in an automated message that a court order has been issued in my name and to call back or I’ll be arrested. Never once mentions my name and is in a robotic automated voice

They told me they were the ATO then asked how old I was.
After questioning them about the purpose of the call, they said they were a 'play boy' company.
I hung up.

It was a recorded robotic message telling me about a lawsuit filed in my name and if I don't ring them back that I'll be arrested.

Pretends to be from the Taxation Office stating that there is a Court Order against me. Coincidentally, I subscribe to Stay Smart Online stating that people are receiving these calls from the ATO and not to give out any information but to hang up.

Caller: FRANCIS MERINO

He called my niece’ mobile number and told her that the name under her mobile number has a court order and needs to call back or be arrested. I dialled that number but it seems not existing as the call is automatically cut. But after few seconds, i received a call back from that number asking for my details so he can verify it in their system. I did not give any details but i asked his name and he said he is FRANCIS MERINO and he works for Australian Taxation Office (ATO). He said I will be arrested for not paying my taxes. I refused to give any of my details after arguing with him. He said warrant will be sent to my address but he couldn’t say where I am located. It was stressful talking to him as he was threatening me.

I also received a voice mail message that advised I have a court order issued and will be arrested if I do not call back. I called back and the number was disconnected.

Called saying it was the tax audit department and there was a lawsuit against me and I needed to call them back... very robotic voice and no personal details

As above. robotic automated voice. I rang back on landline phone and no answer. I ended up blocking the number.

Got the same voicemail left as above. Makes no mention of company or person calling, just that if I don’t return call an arrest warrant will be issued lol

Caller: Supposedly the ATO and left an electronic voice message suggesting an arrest warrant was imminent.

I called the number and an Indian voice identified themselves and asked for my name to check my file. I hung up.
