Called saying that they were Telstra and they were going to cut off my wifi due to suspicious activity.
That was quite suspicious, since I do not have wifi.

Just received a call from the same no saying that our computer has no protection any more from our avg virus protector. Crap just paid for 2 years only last week.... a scarm be careful as they have changed what they are saying. As I was at my work site could not turn the computer on so ringing back tonight at 7.00. Oh boy am I going to have some fun tonight 🤣

Some guy from "Telstra" rang to let me know that my internet had been compromised and asked that I sit infront of my computer. He asked what I saw on my computer screen. Told him I was watching hardcore porn and two guys were engaging in homosexual acts - he hung up alas - rang back the number and messagebank was full

I had the same guys claiming to be Telstra and that my internet was being accessed by Nigeria or illegal purposes and my internet would have to be disconnected. Begun to ask me how many lights and what cords were plugged into my modem. I stopped him and asked him give me a landline number I could call to verify this information. No surprise the number rang out so I called my internet provider and they said it was a scam and there is nothing wrong with my service.
Scamming douche named "Aaron" of Indian accent and only spoke 3 words at a time. Sounded like he was recording my voice. Beware!!

Call saying he was from Telstra to help with my internet.My internet was being hacked by Nigerians.

Got a call from (03) 5447 4163 claiming they were Telstra, saying someone outside Australia has been using my Wi-Fi. I asked for their Telstra ID number he gave me RJ2525. I told him to wait on the line so I can check his ID number. He hung up straight away.

received a call from this number today 17/7. Same as above with the internet about to be cout off due to hackers... or so he said

Received a call from (03) 5447 4163 claiming to be Telstra. When I asked him to prove he was a genuine Telstra caller, he gave me a 36 digit number. He then asked me how many devices accessed the internet in my house. I did not tell him this and I asked for a number to call back on. He gave me 1800 620 595. After I did some research, I called this number back to inform him that scamming is illegal but apparently the number doesn't exist. I then called (03) 5447 4163 and it rung out and said that the message-bank was full. Definitely a scam.

Like Jackal above, whoever it is just called and when I answered, "goodbye" in this lovely sounding, soft, and very polite feminine voice. Sole purpose is to find out if anyone is at home, I believe. If you try to call it back, the number does not exist.

It is a scam phone number.

Claimed to be from Telstra telling me my internet connection had been disconnected for 2 weeks due to being accessed by someone outside of Australia and that I would be reimbursed $300. Asked to me tell him what devices accessed the internet. When I asked him to prove he was from Telstra by giving me some personal details he provided an address that I used to reside in 6 years ago. Obviously a scam.

Called and hung up after 'good bye' ... appears to be a programmed call... don't know aha they're up to...

rang me and then hung up realising it was a wrong number. No apology, no answer, Rude person!!!!
