Caller: John from "Telstra"

Received call from (03) 5428 1356 he said his name was John and he was from Telstra and it was regarding my internet connection. I knew straight away it was a scam so i told him i knew and i hung up.

When I answered the landline phone of this number - complete silence; but I can't hang up to disconnect. Its like its an active call but is blocking my number because is not disconnecting. Had to disconnect phone manually to regain control.

Curry muncher from Telstra saying my internet was being hacked , when I told him his a fraud, he called be every letter in the alphabet. When he become Abusvie was really the only time I could understand him. About time these scum are stopped.

received a call from this number, when I asked where they were calling from they said Telstra, re internet virus, I asked where, the person tried to give me a fictitious address in North Sydney. I told them to never contact this number again or I would have them searched by Australian Telecommunication authorities. Call ended.

Usual overseas call centre delay then a male with an Indian or Pakistani accent came on the line who said his name was "Robert" and that he was calling from Telstra and that my internet connection was going to be cut off. I told him he was trying to commit fraud and to f*** off and hung up!

Scammer calling about problem with my internet, just hung up on him

After reading other reports on this page, it is likely to be the same scammers who on a couple of recent occasions started a spiel about being from Telstra, calling about a virus on our computer etc etc. On those occasions they were told to 'go away' or words to that effect...

Call from 'Telstra' and pretends that your computer has a virus. Common indian scammer. Just hang up.

Silent call.

Called twice this week, on the first occasion the called identified himself as Telstra and said they were going to turn off my internet connection in 2 weeks. On the second occasion they said they were going turn off the internet is two hours.

ring us everyday and state that they are going to cut off our internet!
