Caller: Someone with a strong Indian accent saying they were from Telstra.

Said there was a suspicious transaction happening on my Telstra account. Wanted to confirm my name and DOB to cancel the transaction. I told them to cancel it and wouldn't give any details. She said she couldn't cancel without confirming my identity first. I quizzed a bit and she held her story fairly convincingly. I declined to give her any information. This is definitely a scam and they are fairly good so beware.

Scammer pretending to be Telstra staff, told me I’ve ordered IPhone 12 Pro Max, wanted to confirm is it true? Answering yes or no, then want my personal details name, DOB, address & credit card numbers!
I asked her what’s my name & she unable to answer it! I knew immediately scammer

Calling from ‘Telstra’ saying someone is trying to purchase a phone using my account. Asking for me to confirm my date of birth. It is a scam. Could provide no evidence they were from Telstra. As soon as I said I would be reporting this number they ended the call.

Said they had an order to swap my iPhone. When I said this wasn’t the case, said there was suspicious activity on my account. Scammers.

It’s a scam! Said from Telstra & informed me I’ve bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Need to confirm my details.

They keep calling but I don’t answer and they never leave a message.
