Report this phone number (03) 5202 7196 from Credit Corp to the ACCC Scamwatch https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam I received the scam hoax phone call from dodgy Credit Corp (03) 5202 7196 on my unlisted private phone number and they did not leave a message and when you ring the number back they will not disclose their organisations name so I blocked the number and reported it to the ACCC Scamwatch. The last time I had credit was 20 years ago. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) produces a Debt collection guideline for collectors & creditors https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/debt-collection-guideline-for-coll… Unnecessary or unduly frequent contacts may amount to undue harassment of a debtor. The ACCC recommends that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most.

Usually I just block anyone who shows up at credit corp or scam from this site but I've had it been wrong once. So when I got a notification saying it tried to leave a voicemail message but was blocked I thought it might be a legit and called back. Asked what business they were from and they said a financial services company. That could be Credit Corp or a worse scammer. Either way, if this number leaves a message on your voicemail, don't call them back, just block it. They occasionally try different things like texting or leaving voice mails. They're absolute trash. The Australian government makes every effort to condemn the mafia but lets places like this do as they please. You know what the mafia have never done? Called my effing phone.

Debt collector call!! Scam!! I kept asking what company they are from and he kept saying I had a debt with them but he didn’t know what my name was. Called me three different names like he was guessing who I was. No way of having debt collectors calling me as I just got a new number and have no owing debts. Refused to give me a company name so avoid calling back!!!

Have 3 missed calls from this number. I called back and they didn’t say company name. I questioned them about why I had missed calls, they said they don’t have any of my information I said they why do I have missed calls from you. What is your company so I can get it sorted out. They refuse to tell me company name and asked for my details which I declined to give. Makes absolutely no sense. Scammers for sure.
