These lowlife scammers are certainly determined to scam me. I never answer the phone when it's an unknown number, and I've blocked all the previous numbers they've used, but these psychos won't give up: if you block a number, they call on a different one. I've now had calls from (03) 4108 9940, 9941, 9942 (twice) and now 9659. I've even tried picking up the phone and leaving the line open for at least an hour, but that may not work with the technology they use. (It did at least give me a short period of peace from any more calls from scammers.)
Please do not answer calls from unknown numbers. Just don't answer the phone! If no one ever spoke to these bottom feeders, this plague of pests would eventually have to stop driving us all crazy.

They just do not let up. Started with endless calls on the landline, now they've got my mobile number. I hang up and block them every time, only to get a call from a similar number the next day. Overseas call centre going by the lag and the accents.
Driving me nuts and interrupting me at work.

The Do Not Call register won't help you when it's a scam caller, not a legitimate solar company as is the case here. They're criminals, so they're not going to care about the DNC register. Legitimate solar companies won't call the DNC because the dialler systems they use automatically reject a phone call from their lead lists if they are on DNC, which the dialler companies are supplied numbers for by the government.

These guys 100% are a scam calling company, which is why you guys are getting phone calls from them.

Robo caller but hangs up when you pick up. Calling back you get a Kindness Project - probably scam call center

Daily calls so blocked from (03) 4108 9940 (Bairnsdale, Victoria). Then I started getting calls from (03) 4108 9943 and (03) 4108 9659- all blocked. When they don't leave a voicemail after the first attempt I get suspicious. After reading posts here, suspicions confirmed!

Phoned my mobile whilst I was at work. Accidentally cancelled the call as I was fishing the phone out of my pocket. Googled the number and it brought me here.

been getting these calls.... I never answer. WHY is that we can put people on the moon, but we cant stop these scam calls! I read that in the USA all you need to do is to enter *60 on a landline , and you can block the number or any other number.... similar to mobile calls?

This number along with several others from Bairnsdale keep calling non stop. Very annoying. They are from a charity called kindness project which is a scam. This charity was disbarred from the Australian Charities site in 2022. Just block the number and report it to your telephone provider. They might or might not investigate??

This is some scam, they call hang up random times of day, I did answer but they hung up. Is the scammer trying to see if this is a valid number? Very frustrating

Number calls at really random times. 2-4 times a day! Usually when we are getting dinner ready or sitting down to eat. Even calling multiple times on weekends. Keep blocking the number and they will use one that is only 1 digit different

Answered after connection time. Mentioned some sort of Kindness thing. Indian accent I believe. I hung up. I am thinking of getting rid of my landline now. I am on the do not call register and I only ever receive what appears to be scam calls on a daily basis. I have also taken to popping landline phones in the drawers.
