I called back number (03) 4100 2901 reached IVR for a company called AGL Anytime.

They will hound you for every cent

unknown caller from this number. didn't leave message. reading the previous comments if it is AGL and they're ringing for a legitimate reason you'd think it good business practice to leave a message or automated text?

It is AGL. they call you if your bill has not been paid or you have had arrangements you did not keep. they amount of idiots and losers in the comments is amazing. here is a thought, PAY YOUR DAMN BILLS or STICK TO YOUR ARRANGEMENTS. simple really.

I DO have a " NO CALL " Registration in place..... means nuthin' does it ?

I got another couple of days to pay how they can disconnect my service.... I think its a scam

have been called twice within half an hour - have not answered the calls and no message left.

This number showed it was calling from Buchan, Victoria. l didn't answer. The message left, sounded like a recording that just said "Mark" Sounds dodgy to me..

They hung up when I answered... If they want money its a weird way to act upon it. Seems more of a scam since I've never been with AGL. Explain that?

This number is the worst number I've encountered. Even though I've blocked it, it managed to call me three times today. It seems like scammers' technology is becoming more aggressive and dreadful.

amount owing, wrong name, clearly a poor attempt to get credit card details by making over phone payment

AGL don’t call, they text you. They especially don’t call you from Buchan. I’ll call AGL myself and ask if they called, my gas is due next week and elec in a fortnight. Hopefully they can get something done about it. 2 calls and multiple scam texts every day is ridiculous.
If you’re on the don’t call list you need to renew it every 6-12 months.
