I got a missed call and they didnt leave a message as soon as it went there they just hung up @ 07:56 today 16/4/15

yes rung twice tday..dead air for few secs..typical call so i left the ph on the bench with them still talku.g...went about my business ,,,cuppa maybe...hehe..gone when i came bk..hopefully that will stop them...get a real job please ! :)

They called me, I gave false name and they rang back tonight. I blasted him on phone and hung up. He called back 7 times and finally I answered with him yelling at me why did I hang up? They got a nice on hold music of Rhiana up full blast next to my radio for the next 5 minutes. He didnt call back!

When you challenge these scammers they become aggressive and ring every day many times a day from a silent or the 1900 number as the accents are always the same. Very intrusive and nothing appears that can be done????

011976000 - Guy with an Indian accent who wasn't sure what his name was (he settled on "James" after hesitating) with the "your Windows computer has a problem" scam.

I got a call from this number at 1.57am! After looking it up here I'm glad I didn't pick up the phone

How do you stop them from calling you? I am getting a call every 10 minutes.

Just received a call from 0011976000, and as I was in the mood thought that I would try to work out what was happening. The caller was an Indian sounding guy who said he was from "General Information Research' in Doncaster East. He kept calling me 'mate' and represented to me that he was assessing my eligibility for the Federal Governments national rental affordability scheme http://www.fahcsia.gov.au/our-responsibilities/housing-support/programs-services/national-rental-affordability-scheme. He was VERY persistent about getting me to divulge some financial information so as to assess my eligibility for this scheme. He said that if I was eligible he would get a consultant to come an see me. I pushed back asking to know what consultant. After 10 minutes of him trying to avoid the question, he finally divulged that the consultant would be from Strategic Property Services. When I said I could not find this company name it was was changed to http://www.strategicfinancing.com.au/. I then started to complain about them misrepresenting the nature of the call and asked to speak to the manager. I got put onto 'Linda' also with a Indian voice. I asked did she work for strategicfinancing and she said no that they represented lots of companies. I asked for the name of the owner of 'General Information Research' which she refused to provide to me, so I then asked for the ABN, which again she would not divulge. She said that she would take my number off the caller list.

I have hac 011976000 and 0011976000 call me at leasr 20 times in the last two weeks. I have let the call go to message bank every time and they have never left a message. Apparently this is an international diversion number. Bloody scammers.

Received call this evening approx 1945. No one there.

Got a call from this number today. An Indian lady wanting a quote for pre-paid mobile phones....400 of them, (not fussy what type- just 400 of them) totalling $38,500. Sure sweetheart, I'll even give you 30 days credit terms!

received a call lady with american accent sighed as answering machine kicked in and then she hung up no message left

Called me today on the home which is silent! I hung up on them now it's just a matter of time waiting for them to call back! :(

2nd call this week. refuse to answer. last year i did and my bank account was hacked and my credit card drained :(

I had a call from this Number and they claimed to be from Optus. I hung up.

Just received another call from 0011 976000 (fourth this week alone) but there was actually someone on the other end this time. It was clearly an Indian call centre though the caller denied it. He said he was calling from "Target Group" in Newman St Merrylands and wanted to make an appointment. After I challenged why he was calling, he eventually hung up. I can't feel sorry for these oxygen thieves.
