I called back number (02) 9981 3596 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

said it was in relation to government grants.

Had an man call saying he was from APP? when i asked him what the company did he just hung up.

Just received a phone number from this number from a mature lady with a UK accent. 12:04pm Sydney time - number was (02) 9981 3596 asking for a Elaine. When I asked "Sorry what is this call regarding?" she replied back with "Sorry, I'll call back".

This woman has called our company twice now - demanding to speak to our sales manager. When I told her they won't take marketing calls she became rude and defensive. When I asked for her details and company name, she hung up on me.

A woman (sounded 'maturely-aged') called our company asking to speak with our Director and when I said "I'm not sure if he/she's available", she rudely demanded that I check. I asked what it was regarding and she vaguely responded "sales". I advised her that the name she asked for (being our Director) isn't the primary contact for Sales and then offered to provide her with an email address for our Sales team (standard practise). She abruptly responded "No thanks, I'll call back later" then hung up.

Just had a phone call from this number (1:02pm, SA time) - number was (02) 9981 3596 - sounded like a young woman.

She asked if a particular manager (whom I will not name) for our company was available, to which I responded "I believe so, what was it regarding?", she then very hastily said "Ok. Thanks, bye" and hung up before I could ask what was going on.

I'm unsure what it was regarding, and have not found anything linked to this number online. I found this to be very bizarre.
