Caller: A scammer with vile intentions WHY CAN'T SOMETHING BE DONE ABOUT THESE SCAMMERS. ALL TELEPHONE NUMBERS SHOULD HAVE TO BE REGISTERED WITH AN AUSTRALIAN PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER THAT INCLUDES ALL WHO USE THE INTERNET TO TELEPHONE THEIR UNSUSPECTING VICTIMS. I DON'T ANSWER MY PHONE ANYMORE UNLESS I KNOW THE NUMBER

Automated message saying my landline will be disconnected shortly as NBN is going to be connected in our area and to press 1 to reach a technician. I just hung up as NBN has been connected in our area for over 18 months.
