Rudest people out. Got a call, said I couldn't speak as was about to get a train to Melbourne without service. She went on to almost call me a liar stating there is phone reception on these country trains. I said a second time I could not speak and she said she would try next week. I hung up on the ignorant little sh*t. They should go get a real job

Was enjoying a bath after a hard day. Heard my mobile go off in another room. It'd ring out, and then instantly start ringing again. Happened 6 times before I had enough, got out, answered it.
Pushy telemarketer for Accor. Wouldn't take "not interested" for an answer, until I said it everytime he started talking. Hasn't called back, yet.

A good system to rid telemarketers.

Got 2 calls from them, always had to be first thing on Monday morning when I just turned up to work, tried selling holiday packages or smt to me and kept talking for an absolute 5 MINS altho I kept saying to them I'm not interested. I had to leave my phone on the desk, muted it and let them hang up on themselves.

I got this call in the morning and wasted me 10 minutes to listen to the telemarketer who kept speaking 10 minutes until I said I'm busy now! When I ask him if they have website to introduce their membership he said no, it's only available via phone! B/S! Really stupid and useless way to do marketing . It won't work, what's worse, losing its reputation and finally they will loss their business!

It's Accor Hotels. Like others I had a number of missed calls with no message left. When I finally got a chance to answer it was a rude, bullying women selling a membership for Accor. Would not take no for an answer. Not impressed at all, and will be contacting Accor to complain.

people need to realise that telemarketing is no longer sexy and businesses are actually not benefiting as much as they think they are... I'd rather that this happens through a private number because when yuo see a local or mobile number you can't help but to pick up the call, which is tricky!

They are giving Accor a bad name - I will avoid their hotels on business (a lot of travel) and personal (not so much) ...I have tried to be nice and listen but they do not give any details until you are 5minutes into the call..

It's Accor for its loyalty scheme. Can work OK if you travel a lot. They offer a "free night" but membership costs more. From my experience the "free" night when redeemed is in the worst room at the hotel. But you can also upgrade for more $$$. Worst thing with the telemarketing is the refusal to leave a message. So 100 missed calls and it keeps going until you answer.

I answer and hang up without speaking to them. I will do this 1000 times if I have to. Who will win in the end?

It's ACCOR and I know from my travels it's a not a great deal - can get cheaper through other websites and even by calling the hotels directly and negotiating.
