They said it was from Telstra and I had an insecure internet connection and asked me to go to the computer to go where he was telling me. Of course this is spam, so I said if you're from Telstra, what's my account number? What kind of internet do I have? So he hung up. I am sick and tired of calls like this, Australia should put a stop on this somehow, it's tiring and time wasting.

Fed up with scam calls!

Said from Telstra. Same as below, saying that someone had been hacking into my computer for the past few weeks. Very strong Indian accent - very hard to understand. Wanting me to log onto my computer - yeah right!! I played along and said that I didn't think Telstra offered this service. I asked for his name and a number I could call him back on. Well his name is Jack Williams and wouldn't give me a number. He gave me his employee ID as 759860. Kept calling me Maam. After having a bit of fun, I called him the scum of the Earth and how dare he try to scam people. "Öh no Maam, this is not a scam". I called him a few more choice words before hanging up. Ten minutes later I got another call from a different number (08) 9757 1886 with the exact same spiel. Different fella - couldn't understand when he said his name. He said that when I used my computer over the last two weeks Telstra noticed that I had been hacked into. I said "That's very interesting. I haven't used my computer or the internet for the past month". He promptly hung up!

Indian guy called, really bad English, said he was calling on behalf of Telstra customer support, I asked him 'why the hell would you be calling me?' He hung up. I am with Vodaphone hence my aggressive response, bloody idiots.

Scamming low life, sick of getting these calls, says that they are Telstra, something should be done about this. They can hardly speak English, spoke to a female and then a male.

Indian fellow who said he was calling from Telstra and they had noticed overseas activity by someone had been trying to access the details on our computer. I knew it was a scam and hung up. I have had three calls like this in the last 3 days but the other times it was a different number.

Silence sometime, then hang up. Other times it's an Indian telling me they're from Telstra and there's a problem with my internet.

Silence at first, then noisy background, then Indian sounding male said "hello ma'am, I saw you in the shower". Creepy!
