Not sure why people are saying it’s a scam. We just swapped over internet to TPG. It was TPG calling about our new service and home phone add-on. Verified by follow-up messages from their official number/service team.

This phone number belongs to TPG. They called me about my modem issues that I had mentioned a few days ago. They didn’t ask for my details. They just said “we’ve been monitoring your router for 14 hours. There’s been no cut outs” and that if I have a cut out, for me to call them so they can check it out in real time. This is something I asked for them to do a few days ago, so it is 100% them. They didn’t even need my name.

TPG regarding a support request on NBN. However sometimes they don't talk and send you a text a little later which is a bit odd.

Indian call centre. The guy was OK, he said he loved Australia and wanted to come and work here so he could make money to support his large family in India. Also wanted to bring his cousin so he could marry them.

tpg trying to flog 'discount mobile plans' for current customers.
After recent internet issues, it would be much better if they focused on areas that need improvement than these constant scripted call centre calls.....

This number is legit, I gave them a hard time due to the negative reviews here but they were trying to help me. I ended up apologising and rightly so. Please don't leave negative reviews unless you are sure.

Caller: I don’t know
Did not answer. On the same day there was a TPG mobile service outage in my area, but my phone gave me an automated message to say I haven’t paid my monthly mobile account when I tried to make an outbound call. It’s definitely fishy as I contacted TPG cus service using 131423 on a different phone and there was no problem with my payments, but the support person couldn’t explain the drop in services. My phone went into SOS also. I recommend you do not touch any hyper links in emails that seem to be addressed from TPG. Something is definitely corrupt about unsolicited communications. ALWAYS RING TPG YOURSELF.

I didn’t click on the number that rang and left a 101 message. I had been speaking to TPG earlier today about a new modem so rang TPG on 131423 instead and spoke to customer service about the message left I was told to delete the message and disregard it. Sounds like a scammer is trying to access TPG customers. BEWARE do not answer them
