I only picked up because caller ID appeared, TPG Internet Service Provider. Silence and the person hung up! I checked online and indeed it is legitimate TPG support. Either they employed really lousy tele-support agent or their numbers been used by spoofer. Anyway, I'm blocking the number.

I am a TPG customer. It's a TPG number, BUT !!!!! I called TPG, no record or reason for them to call me on their records. They said most likely a scammer masking the number to appear it is from them. They said if they called it would have some calling ID like Digiplus on it. So yep scammer masking their number with this one.

If you have contacted the TPG help desk and your matter was escalated to an engineer, then that engineer is likely to be calling you back on (02) 9850 0800. It is not a scam and a genuine call.

This number called me, the line was silent, I'm with TPG but they have no reason to contact me. Best thing is to block the number.

TPG responding to a technical issue - asked to confirm ID and account information before they would proceed - they called me so I refused - then they said that's ok and wanted to assist with resetting the modem which I am quite capable of doing myself and had already done previously to try and fix the problem before I called them.

It's not a scam, it's TPG calling for an update if any complaint is lodged. All good :) They are really good at providing updates on the NBN issue.

TPG Ringing me about an email enquiry I sent regarding business grade NBN. Said they'd contact by email, instead called me at 9PM. Bravo!
