I have had my Porsche 911 Carrera serviced by Bob Whyms BWA for 3 years & have always found him & his staff to be very Professional.Bob is very truthful & honest & provides very good advice to keep your car running well. I would have no hesitation in recommending BWA to anyone looking for a reliable Porsche service centre.

Bob Whyms has looked after my Porsche 928 GTS for some 9 years for both handbook and specific race track oriented servicing. Work done has varied then from minor electrical to major mechanical including full engine and gearbox rebuilds. Mechanical repairs have been to the highest standard and were cost effective. More importantly I have always found Bob to be extremely fair and truthful.

Mr Georgiou I wonder who is the real butcher of your expensive dream car when you starved it to death through lack of oil pressure by not observing your gauges!!

Response to negative review by "funmate" by Bob Whyms Automotive.
After servicing funmate's car we diagnosed his flicking gauges and lights as an electronic problem. The car was driven for 6 months and approximately 6,000kms after we serviced it. The engine failed due to timing chain and scavenge pump failure, this was nothing to do with oil pressure loss as alleged by Mr Georgio.
Two independent mechanical engineers refuted Mr Georgio's claim of misdiagnosis of engine failure due to loss of oil pressure. He had the opportunity to go to court which he chose not to do as he would have lost the case due to the overwhelming evidence in our favour. You don't drive a vehicle for more than a few minutes with no engine oil pressure let alone 6 months and 6,000kms.
The car was repossessed by the finance company and sold at auction. Mr Georgio did not meet his repayment obligations. I believe Mr Georgio wanted us to fix his engine at our expense because he could not pay for it. There are two sides to every story. We have been repairing and servicing Porsche's for 35 years and have many satisfied customers. We strongly refute Mr Georgio's unsubstantiated claim that we are butchers.

Please Do not trust this butcher with your expensive dream car, After servicing my Porsche 911 They failed to diagnose a simple problem which resulted in a major fatal engine blowout. which cost me more than $150k. They have no idea how to service and maintain a Porsche. Do your self a favour and service your hard earned dream car with a Porsche dealer and save your self from heartache and from these butchers.

I would not continue with the car if Bob and his team were unable to maintain it.
