I was the youngest member of the Yagoona Soccer Club when it first began in 1957. My family lived in Martha Street and at the age of 7, my brother Stephen and I joined the club in the Under 10s after we saw a notice in Spingers Shop window (corner of Cooper Road and the Highway).Needless to say I was still in the Under 10s in 1959!!Our colours were blue and white and I was goalie.
