I am not sure but lately (03) 9569 8034 and mobile 0451 236 987 as well as this number have rung many people ''supposedly from Telstra''. I would not be surprised if they are inter-connected in some way. My advice is if you do not know the number of the person that is calling - do not answer it and look up Rev Aust. Cheers.

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

Our internet was disconnected by this person. After calling our provider they confirmed they had hacked into our computer

They said they were from Telstra and that our internet was going to be cut tomorrow. Told them to bugger off!

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

Said he was checking by home NBN connection, told him he had called a business, he said "hang up on this call" and then he laughed"

Caller: No one spoke

I answered, there was silence and then an automated voice said "Goodbye".

Received 6 calls from this number today. Said he was from Telstra and wanted me to go on to our computer to fix a hacking problem we had. Refused to do so. The caller had a foreign accent, got increasingly angry, because I kept hanging up. He eventually stopped. We reported the number to Optus, our provider, who confirmed nothing had been tampered with.

Caller: Claimed to be from the technical dept of Telstra

Said my computer had been hacked into from an overseas address and wanted access to my computer to fix it. I asked for their name and number to call him back and he hung up.

Caller: Support Scam

Call yesterday and today, Saying there from telstra support and our home internet will be cutoff, Thing is the morons called our company number of which were a computer shop!.
