I have had a nimber of calls from this number and when I have called back it says optus regrets the number you are calling is disconnected

I received a missed call from this number tried to call back, seemed line was busy,. stupid one. annoying during working hours. I wish some one can fix this problem:(

As soon as I answered the call, they hung up.

He called me apologetic he called wrong No, I called him back 15 min later and answering service is on saying "Optus is advising that this phone is disconnected"... So who could it be than someone from Optus

I have answered with "Hello" and he told me "called the wrong number mam, I'am sorry" and hang up....strange

I just received same call type. They are definitely a SCAM org trying to take your money. Report them to your Telco service provider or Fair Trading. I recall the originating SCAM I received on my home PC about 3 months ago and I was tricked but suspected so foolishly responded. I did give my 1st name as Tory (which is not correct) and since then I have received up to 15 SCAM emails per day, numerous texts all addressed to "Tory" from someone purporting to be from CBA, NAB, Caltex, Woolworths, Coles and other big companies with that company logo within the email. Tell them where to go, hang up then report the number.

Call back and the automated voice told I have been disconnected... so they have been blocked..

Commonwealth Support Campaign. Had the same call, very deceptive name, said they represented a group of financial institutions but could not say who or give any details of how to get in touch with them. Cold canvasing for people to tell about "generous government tax incentives", or in other words looking for people to invest in negatively geared property.

I called back number (02) 9651 6975 rang 2 times then goes to busy tone.
