Had a call from this number and one ending in 6540. Appears to be a scam number as calling back says "call cannot be connected"

Caller: Wealth Creation Services

Got a call from someone called Sam on this number. Said he was from a 'tax information service' which was government approved but not funded by the government. Wanted to let me know that there is a tax incentive that low-income people can apply for, which is designed to help with existing debts such as mortgages. Asked some generic questions about income & debts. When I asked where he got my number from, he advised that his company buys publicly-listed phone numbers (e.g. 'if you order food online'). Says if I qualify I'll receive a call within 1-2 days. (Why not just give me some info so I can check for myself now?)

Tried googling the supposed business name & didn't find an entity online. Tried calling back & got the 'disconnected' message everyone else is getting. I assume it's a scam, so it'll be interesting to see what they can do with such generic (& not exactly accurate) info OR whether there's 2 parts to this ...

Like others I rang the number and got Optus telling me disconnected. I have blocked the number

So annoying! They call me everyday. Definitely a spam call.

Someone who said their name was Ray called from This number wanting to ask some questions to see if I was eligible for s special offer they had , to help me save money . I advised I don’t answer personal questions from people and businesses I don’t know who ring me unsolicited. Call ended shortly after.

After reading a review on here I looked up the business name and cannot find them listed anywhere and I called back the number about 10 minutes after receiving the incoming call ...as mentioned here in a previous post it was a disconnected number ...

Scam number answer call nobody on the other end. Call number back and it appears number is not connected.

Got a call from this number. No VM left. Appears to be marketing call.
