Hung up after a few seconds, then I tried to ring, but telstra Msg said it had been disconnected... Weird

Called to my mobile. When picked up, an Australian accents lady answered said it's some Commonwealth Rebate then phone got disconnected and she never called back. I think it is some Telemarketing call.

Just got a call. No one said anything, so added number to my blocked list.

Received a call about getting information on tax rebate. Aust woman sounded legit, said only 10% were qualified for this and (of course) we were one of them. Someone will call me back within 48 hrs to let me know. They called 3 times on home phone 3 on mobile within 2hrs from 0434 129 550 to try and set up a meeting at my home. I said NO. I googled National rebate Initiative and a thread led me to here.

they never stop ringing...it's harassment as far as I'm concerned!

some alleged authority calling about govt rebate for under 58 year olds. Govt never call peoples homes, they would invest in a national mail out by post. Scammers.

Caller wanted to know if I am a full time worker under 60 to offer some government rebate! Dodgy, so I hung up! Don't forget out there guys! Try not to say "yes" in your conversation!

Tried to call back and Optus said number disconnected, so I'd say they are scammers/telemarketers.
