got a call from (02) 9651 2781 & when i rang it back it said "optus advises this number is disconnected". go figure i called it straight back.

They said they were Government planning program and had information about how I could legally use money paid to the ATO as income tax to pay off my mortgage. I rang the ATO and they said it was a scam.

I had 8 missed calls from this number yesterday. When I called back the recorded message said the number was disconnected.

Muttered something incoherent and hung up

I get calls from Dural all the time and this call was one of them. When you call back it says they're disconnected. This time it was from "Wealth management" something something. Clearly it's a scam. How can we report it?

Keep getting calls, say they’re from something called gaining wealth. Every time I block the number they call from a different one. When I said I wasn’t interested and hung up he rang back very angry and told me he was going to keep ringing until I listened to what he had to say. First call always comes from a Dural number then next from a South Australian one, don’t know who they are but it’s getting ridiculous, calling at least 3 times a week.

had about 6 of these calls over the past few weeks. Very annoying

These parasites call, wait for you to answer (background noise), wait about two seconds & then hang up. As already said if you call back it says "Optus wish to advise that this number is disconnected".
Providers (Optus) that allow this are contributing to telemarketers who illegally call "DO NOT DISTURB" numbers.

At 7.30pm they called saying they from Wealth Planning Program, saying it was imperative I listen to them, to allow me to look after myself. When I asked for my details to be removed from his data base, he said he didn't have the authority. He said he had bought my details. He was very insisting I listen to him.

Called me on 03 Nov - didn't leave a message.

I got a missed call from this number. Maybe from a wildlife rescue group.

This number has been calling my mobile and hang up before I can even answer. Who are you and what do you want from me.

Called it back. Just got long beeps. Another spammer.

Grubs offering government tax incentivities. Wanting financial details. Female when asked who she worked for said several companies but didnt know one of them !!
She said " I'm just a plonker at the end of the phone"
I said " you actually expect people to hand over such info"
Then i laughed at her and hung up

Got the same message when I called back - Optus advises that this number is disconnected. I have blocked it.
