Caller: cold sales appeared to be a scam

Indian female. Had my Surname. Told me they were from Telstra with an apology about the no not call registry not blocking international calls, and that (for a cost) I could I could have a device that would block everything and allow up two an extra 1000 number to be manual blocked. I put the phone down at that point.
Indian + Telstra + Trying to sell me something = pretty sure its a scam.
