We have just had the same thing happen to us.

I had a call from this number. Didn't identify herself but said she'd spoken with me before which she certainly hadn't. Asked questions about being NBN ready, about landline/internet/mobile fleet providers. Obviously hadn't spoken with me before as she asked about our Vodafone mobile fleet and we don't run a mobile fleet.
Annoying to say the least! Have no idea how she got my number.

Very pushy, said that we'd spoken earlier this year (we hadn't) and that I'd asked her to ring back after end of fin year (I hadn't). Pushy and would keep talking while I was telling her we are happy with our telecom providers and to have a good day, ended hanging up halfway through a sentence as she would just not stop talking.

Very pushy telemarketer asking for the owner of the business and trying to lock in an appointment for a salesperson to sell new phone contracts. Time wasters.

same as everyone else who have commented. She does not tell you where she is calling from and will not leave a message but keeps calling back!

EXTREMELY RUDE.
Asking for 'the person who is in charge of the phone bills', and "I need to send an official letter, so I need the name".

When I refused to give the name of the IT Manager, the person got really aggressive and shouted "I'm recording this conversation!" "NBN will not respond even if you make any complaints in the future".

Same situation as the rest of the comments. She even knows my colleague's name and after I refuse to transfer her call, she asked for my name and said she will report to someone that I was rude to her. Very bazaar...

Called claiming I had talked with her before. I had no memory of this. She kept calling me 'Dave' and 'hun' and said she'd call back again. I blocked the number. She wouldn't say which telco she was representing.

Extremely rude and demanding, she asked to speak to an I.T. manager, once I transferred the line, Cody responded "I don't think you're the I.T Manager".

Same as above, but was saying she was from Optus. When I asked her to email her information through she asked me is it something she said and don't I trust her? As I was about to respond with - goodness gracious, we are not in a relationship - she hung up. Good result really.

Very Rude, when asked for a company they are calling from she rudely says he asked me to call this morning, when i know it is not true.

I tried to call the number back & it just rings out. If they are on hold for too long they hang up. Very dodgy. Caller is either Cody or Sara. i have spoken to them both. I got the same response that Tracey did below.

Caller: Said they were from OPTUS Corporate Head Office

Made out that they had spoken to someone yesterday - Not True
Said that we wanted to change from our current telecommunication retailer - Not True
Also, advised that we had a qty of landlines & a qty of mobiles - Neither quantities were True
Want to put together a presentation and present it to us on site.

Same story. She sounds very demanding.

Blocked their number now they use a different number. Same message and same people.

Caller: Cody-Lee

Asked to speak to our business owner (gave his name) and was very assertive and confident saying she had spoken with him previously. I asked three times what company she was calling from and she said three times that she had spoken with our owner and promised to call him back. Hung up when I pressed her for company name again.

Received a call from a woman using this number. She repeatedly asked to speak to someone who can authorise telecommunications contracts. Would not provide the identity of the organisation/service provider she represented (due to their privacy.). Very pushy. Dishonestly claimed to have previously spoken with the CEO. She cut the call off when I continued to query the service provider she was calling for.

These guys calls me weekly even though I asked them not to call again. This have been on going for the past 2-3 years. I have spoken to a “manager” several times that have assured me they will not call me again. What are my options besides changing my number that I had for 15 years?

Calling us every day for weeks now asking to speak to boss. Spam number.

Rings all the time, does not take no for an answer, says that it is a personal call, but it is not. Needs to leave people alone as they are not interested.

We are running a business here and don't have time for people annoying us!!!

A lady called Anna rang explaining that she cannot give out her company name for privacy details... Turns out she's just in sales pretending that she has spoken to our CEO previously and trying to speak to him directly regarding teleconferencing. Dodgy.
