Caller: Fred Hollows Foundation Caller

This number was used by a donation collector to solicit my asking for $49/month donations.

I picked up, a nice sounding lady asked 'I was wondering if 'first name last name' was available please.
I replied 'first name speaking'.
That was the end of the call, she went silent and hung up.

I've dialled back 5 times and the phone does not connect or if it does, it's completely silent and just hangs up on you

Perhaps they had asthma.

They called me but I didn’t answer. They then proceeded to leave me a minute long voicemail of heavy breathing.

It's a potential fraud call.

Got a call today and no message left

This all suggests it is a charitble donation soliciting service.

Caller: Mondial

This gentleman claimed that he was from Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, but when I raised the concern about not being able to verify the phone number, the gentleman immediately told me that he is calling from Mondial. They are after monthly direct debit donation, and promised that there is no commission taken from donation, but I am not able to verify this. Sharing this for your information.

These people rang my mobile on 29th Jul and didn't leave any company identification or what they wanted. The number was showing as from the Wollongong area. When listened to their brief audio I didn't understand as language seem to be in Chinese. I have blocked as spam.

This looked like a legit Sydney number but I didn't know it and wasn't expecting a call from that part of Sydney. Also even more suspicious about unknown numbers thanks to all the hacking recently. So I didn't answer and they hung up without leaving a message. Having seen the messages on here about the number, I am very glad I didn't answer!
