I called back number (02) 9374 4000 reached IVR for Google Australia.

My partner had $100 taken from his bank account in 2 separate transactions but on same day . The bank said that it's a Google transaction and to call this number (02) 9374 4000. Problem is my partner hasn't bought anything and when he rings the above number it's just a recorded message.
This would be about the 4th time money has been taken from his account and each time a new card. Just wondering who banks with what bank ? I want to know if it is a certain bank issue ?

Caller: Phone reference on a fraudulent credit card charge

$2 credit card charge quoting this number and purporting to be from Google.
Westpac has automatically suspended the transaction and credited the $2.

$2 charge, shown as GOOGLE. Refunded by Westpac straight away, and a note on the transaction stating "Hold Payment"

Over $15,0000 in three days ($3458.58 + $868.58 amounts). 28 degrees/latitude credit card. Only used with our infrequent purchases from eBay using PayPal. Transaction details show Google ads with the above phone number.

I've got the same issue. A charge appears on my ba k statement that i haven't made.
I've changed bank cards and it still happens.

Have you managed to stop the payments & if you have, may I I ask how you done it.

Charge on my card seemed suspicious with this number as reference but was actually related to a google app purchased - not scam - (magicrampage app)
