It's Amex. Had a payment reversed and they were trynig to contact me.

AMEX Fraud CREATION team!!!

Then received a text message from them:

"Hi, this is a call from American Express. Kindly return our call back at 130363614. Option four. Reference number T." Message2Text

Yeah, nah!

Caller: Scammers on spoffed Amex number

This is a real AMEX number, but may be a scammer impersonating the number. Sometimes the caller will be AMEX , other times it will be Scammer impersonating AMEX. Often will be proceeded by a silent number call first. If you get a call from this number, hang up and call the real AMEX number and see if they are chasing you.

It's Amex credit department. I was dubious however called the number on the back of the card and confirmed they were trying to advise i had an overdue account which i had forgotten.

keeps ringing our business, when i answer they hang up, definitely a scam. If it was real they would talk to you. I wish i could block the landline number on the office phone. Super annoying

Legit call from AMEX Fraud detection team.
They detected suspicious activities on my card so calling to confirm - I tried to add my card to Apple Wallet multiple times yesterday but wasn't able to do so. They helped me resolve the issue on the call. Pretty helpful and friendly folks. They did ask for identification first, like the DOB and name of the main account owner.

Scam, posing as AMEX.

Caller: Amex ... but I think its a scam

Keep calling asking for info ... but then say I can do 'yes / no' answers so I hang up. Its definitely not AMEX. I told them to email me if legit and I didnt receive an email

Caller: Said they were from AMEX

Knew my name and asked for DOB obviously hoping to scam on my credit card.

Caller: Claimed to be AMEX. Obviously not.

Called claiming to be AMEX, wanted my date of birth and other personal information. Clearly a scam.

Someone is calling regularly and saying they are from David Jones Amex.
They asked me for my details for identification purposes and when I refused they hung up.
Beware this must be a scam.
How can we stop this?

Rang me a few times, no msg left, Called to check - it's answered as Amex. Fairly rude not to leave a message then persist.

Caller: Fake AMEX

Hung up after saying they were from AMEX and that the call was being recorded for training purposes.

They said nothing and hang up when I picked. Soo annoying!

Caller: The Credit Team from David Jones & American Express

Long pause when i answered and between the guy on the other side. Never mentioned his name but was happy to say where he was ringing from. Asking to speak to a person who doesn't work in our office. I politely asked him if i could take a message for him as i knew the person. Then he explains that due to privacy i was not allowed to take a message and that he was unable to be called back.

Caller: Someone with no life

called me 2 times and each time i answer they hang up....

This number called me twice this morning (one hour apart calls)! I hear someone on the other side but they say nothing. So bloody annoying:(

Could be AMEX but they have called 3x and left no message. I don't answer unknown callers! Will be blocking unless they leave a message!
