The same is with Westpac but bank is saying Peakbound is scam arranging credit cards in any bank knowing your address and personal details. When they got you is impossible to cancel. http://www.peakbound.com.au/ So how Citibank, American Express banks deal with it?

Today I received a letter from Citibank thanking me for my interest in Citibank CoverPlus Income Protection insurance discussed over the phone. It then dribbles on and finishes with Yours Sincerely Jessica Power Director of Insurance Citibank. How many times email, phone does one have to tell them I AM NOT INTERESTED!
This situation has me now so p**sed off that when the card is paid off I am going to tell them to cancel it.
After all Citibank is charging an extra $10.00 per week for late payment and I do not get all the statements or they arrive a few days before payment is due.
Bloody good lurk!!

Just had another call from this number. He said he was from Citibank and when I quizzed him and after several times asking is he from Citibank or a scammer he finally said that they sell products on behalf of Citibank. Still it is very unethical to represent yourself as someone you are not! So I told him that I would only deal with Citibank, then stated very that I am not interested. As I hung up he was still talking. What an absolute waste of time!

I have copied & pasted the email I received from these telemarketers. They are not Citibank as they SHE says, I rang Citibank and the female I spoke to does not know anything about peakbound holdings.
Yet another bloody scam. **************************************************

Has been persistently calling me for a few weeks, when I'm not able to anser the phone. Very irritating. I have a Citibank VISA card however I've told them previously on a number of separate occasions that I do not want any additional products.

Weekly telemarketing calls to sell 'income protection insurance'. Citibank ignore requests to do not call for promotions and telemarketing. Im leaving Citibank once my 0% balance transfer expires.

Heaps of calls almost daily. As soon as answered, it was hand up. Called back got a lady answered call claimed that they are 'authorised representative of Citibank' try to sell income protection policy. Had told them not interested months ago, but still get phone calls.
