Caller: Amnesty International

Amnesty International at the end of a long talk he asked for monthly donations, I said send me an email and I can do one off donation no monthly payments and he said that he can’t do that because of personal information?????
Don’t trust them!

Rang a few times but didn't connect when I answered.

Asked to speak to me by name then as they started their spiel the phone hung up. Weird! But it was definitely some cold calling company

Lots of phone calls to me in NZ. Never leave a message. Only managed to answer one call and was waiting on line whilst automated outbound calling software waited for an available agent to handle the call. Their time is obviously more important than mine.

Caller: Australian Red Cross

Got one from the Australian Red Cross today. These organisations (Red Cross, Amnesty etc.) probably hire companies to do their donation calls for them

Hung up when I answered.

Caller: Silence

Silence then hangs up

It is amnesty australia they have a couple lines they can call from

I rang them back and asked who they were.

Whoever this is they call me every day and never leave a message. Have blocked them but calls still seem to get thru
