Caller: 9170 2323 I answered the phone and said hello, A young woman with a vaguely asian accent said they were from "NSW Department of Public Affairs" (which is to do with the police). I didn't say anything else as it just felt like a scam. They had no reason to call my mobile number and didn't even ask for me by name. I stayed on the line silently till they hung up.

Caller: fake vodafone male announce he was calling from vodafone asking to speak to me in chinese. typical scam call that willl lead to claim an unknown SIM card registered in your name being found doing illegal activities, and they suggest you report to chinese police, and then transfer to a fake police, who will then try to tell you to cooperate by transferring your money into their account while they investigate. All these will be calls transferred or initiated by them (they call you). same for fake consulate, immigration, optus, telstra, DHL, Aust Post . Simplest thing is to ring up the organisation officially published phone number to verify if you are concerned. Do not follow their phone calls or transfer you around.

Have called me every day around the same time for the past 2 weeks, I keep missing it to tell them to take me off their caller list. Probably a scam call
