Caller: Medallion Wealth A financial services business based in Sydney, their task is (apparently) to connect a vacuum cleaner up to your bank account while offering you all the bells and whistles to invest in equities, fixed interest, SMSF, etc. The first call will be from a low-level sales lead generator type who will question you in an "I'm your new best friend" kind of way to find what your financial position is, then refer it to a heavy-hitter type to come in and get you set up (and get those funds of yours into their possession, I mean, under their management). I had some fun for a while talking to them on the phone, but the novelty wore off. Be warned: they are persistent.

Caller: Medallion Wealth Unsolicited sales call asking if I invest in the stockmarket. Providing general advice to open investment accounts. I didn't think that this was allowed?

Caller: Medallion Wealth No idea how they got my number as I am on a do not call list. Asked to be removed from their call list, we'll see if that actually happens.
