I called back number (02) 9169 4070 spoke to a woman who said I've reached Aware Super.

Caller: Aware Super

I elected to be called back by the Aware Super call centre. This is the number they called me back from. No problem.

Caller: Said she was from Aware Super

I had requested a call back from Aware Super. This number called eight minutes later as Suspected Spam, but I thought it was a mistake. She asked me for details of my name, date of birth, can't remember what else. I enquired about getting information over the phone about retirement. She said she didn't have access to my account. I thought it was strange. Now having seen the previous comments, I'm sure she was a scammer trying to get information. I'll trust my Scammer Alert in future. I just hope I didn't give away too much info.

Requested for a call back from Aware Super. Received a missed call from someone by the name of Luke from this number who left a message for me to call back on this number. Thinking it was a direct number, I called back, but it seems to be a generic number for Aware Super. Was on hold for almost 10 minutes, didn't get to speak to an operator and just gave up.

got a call from (02) 9169 4070. I think they said Aware Super. Seemed like a nice man. Asked for Andrew. I said it was the wrong number. Wasn't sure about it, so looked it up here.

Caller: She said she is from aware super

I was waiting for Aware super to ring me back when someone in this number rang and she said she is from Aware super but her phone number is not an aware Super contact number. However, without checking it I thought she is really from aware super and she asked me all my personal information and my husband's name like our birthdate, names and address but when she asked me about my husband's super's client number and member number. I suspected this is a scammer because the Aware super person will not ask me that way. I am just worried that she might access my husband's superannuation and used the information she gathered to use for scamming or access our accounts like banks and centrelinks. Please beware!
