Caller: DHL Many above messages claiming DHL don’t collect money in this way, referring to their website. That’s not what their website says. They DO collect customs and GST fees in this way. They DO NOT collect payment for goods (this is what their website actually says). Have had a number of business packages delivered this way, each time I have to pay customs and GST before delivery. Ask them to send you an email with a link in it for online payment. Don’t pay over the phone (is good standard advice).

Claiming to be DHL but DHL don’t ask for customs payments from people on receipt of packages. They ask for payment from the sender. Definitely a scam. Very persistent with calls, text messages, voice messages, etc

Caller: DHL I can confidently confirm this is a legitimate phone number from caller DHL. I had to pay additional duties and taxes (which I am not at all happy about but that's another matter) for my recent shipment. This is not a scam caller.

They claimed calling from DHL Express regarding a shipment from UK is on hold and requires additional payment for delivery. It's a scam. They first sent a SMS message, then called twice on the next day. If you don't answer, they left you voice messages and asked you to call their direct number 1300 921 066. Just hanged up and don't return call. According to DHL, they don't ask for payment in this manner. FYI - https://www.dhl.com/us-en/home/footer/fraud-awareness.html

Caller: DHL As others have said, this is a genuine call regarding DHL import duties for a package. DHL will usually also send you an official email so you don't need to pay by phone, but this is a legitimate phone number.
They were helpful and it was regarding a real package I am expecting.
