As another caller reported- silence on pickup, beep, automated voice said "Goodbye" then call terminated."

Got a phone call from his number, I did'nt answer and no voicemail was left. When I called the back, the "funny ring tone" as described above is a tell tale of VOIP service. Meaning the line can originate anywhere and show the local phone number. There was a generic voicemail in american accent, probably default from the VOIP service provider that the "The number you are calling is not reachable."
My Suggestion, if ever calling back an unknown number, put your own number on silent, it offers some protection albeit limited.

Called twice in recent weeks - no message both times. I make a habit of not answering calls unless a) I know the caller is or b) I wait for their message then call back. I’m going to block this number.

I didn't answer, but since someone else has stated the name of the "company" and the fact that they said they got their contact details from crazy domains I don't doubt it, because last time we used crazy domains I was inundated with spam calls.

Saw this number and thought to myself is was another scam caller. Didn't pick up and no message was left indicating it was most likely a scam caller.

I don't answer the phone of unknown phone numbers. Got call from this number at 6.47pm. They didn't leave a message, so couldn't be very important. My guess it's a scam.

This nuisance/scam robocaller must be doing the rounds again. Dialling 10 numbers at once but only passing the first person who answers to the call centre. This method apparently has a better "hit rate" than waiting for individually dialled numbers. I guess a lot of people are not automatically answering their phones like they used to.
Silence on pickup, beep, automated voice said "Goodbye" then call terminated."
