Have called multiple times with automated message claiming to be Department of Home Affairs. Definitely a scam!

Missed the call so I put the number in to google and this site lit up. So grateful people contribute here. What's happening with our telecommunications regulators that these idiots can be running a scam line from this number for so long?

Amazon: today auto renew $99.95, if you wish to cancel can speak to Cancellation Services press 1.

Caller: COMPUTER VOICE

Supposedly from ebay asking if I wished to cancel item, ask for refund or talk to operator.

Robot saying that my Amazon Prime account will be automatically renewed and to press 1 to speak to someone. I have received multiple calls in recent weeks (both Australian and international numbers) and have blocked them all. I don't have, and don't want, an Amazon Prime account.

Didn't answer and no message left, but after checking on here, absolutely a dodgy number. Don't answer!

Caller: Telstra

Said my NBN had been compromised. As soon as I said how do I know you're not a scammer, they hung up. Cannot call the number back. I've saved their number rather than block this time, with scam caller as ID, so I can have some fun next time. 😉🙂 can't wait. 🤣🤣 need something to fill in my time while recovering from long covid and its time these aholes got some of their own back. Let's waste some of their time for a change. 😁

Said that they were going to deduct money 79 for monthly account. I hung up. I have had previous calls about this but from a different number (02) 9000 9951,

Scam caller. Just block the number

Rang me at lunchtime. I rang back but the number wasn't even ringing. It's surely dodgy.

I didnt answer it as it looked suss and 'they' didnt leave a message. Thanks for the feedback here

Caller: Said it is Telstra Technical

Told me my internet is not secure and that no matter what provider I am with, Telstra Technical will always call to fix the issues as they are the National Provider. Wanted me to put them on loud speaker and use my mobile phone to go into Settings and "fix" the problem. I asked them to email me the instructions and hung up.
She then rang back on another number 07962159032

Scam - just called and claimed they are NBN and asking if I am facing network issue. I say no and they hang up ....

Didnt answer, phone auto-blocked.
Scam related.

Caller: Alleged to be Amazon, but obviously not

Phoned several times, said that they had my credit card number (but could not tell me what it was on asking for confirmation that they had the number but not allowed to tell me! Want me to subscribe to Amazon for $79/month

Got a call from this number saying it was Amazon Prime and asked if I wanted to cancel or renew my service.

Caller: Computer Voice

Said I was going to be debited $99.99 for Amazon Prime, press 1 if I didn't want to.
I hung up
