Answered a call at 20/07/20 9:09pm, no one responded on the other end of the line. Rang back, and got a message saying the number is disconnected. DO NOT ANSWER, seems dodgy.

Caller: Department of Services

Told me that my tax number and name had been used to rent a car, which was found abandoned with drugs in it, now the federal police had a warrant out for my arrest.
Did not provide my real surname, tax number but still seemed to have a warrant against my name
Said that husband would follow up case number and track number as in police service and was hung up on!

Called me twice around 9.45pn i didn't answer as even the number at that time of night is dodgy. So i got on here. This site is awesome thanks every1 for the info

claimed to be from Amazon and going to bill me $79.99 for something, press 1 to speak to . . .

Needed to confirm my personal info, dob address, “ I asked why ? and what’s your name ? He said I don’t have to give you that information….. “ told him to f*ck himself” and hung up….,,scammmm

Caller: Private Investigator

Wanted funds returned to the bank account of his client.

Thinly veiled threat.

Said it was nbn ( automated service) and they would be disconnecting all services at residence in 24hrs unless I pressed 1 to be connected to “there” technician...!!

Would love to see these people face to face!!

Rang twice a week apart, didn't answer first time.

Second time answered, said hello and male indian sounding voice said my full name and I said what? And he hung up.

Called back immediately and says disconnected.

Machine voice claiming to be from Department of Home Affairs

Lady called telling me she was from Microsoft Computers and asked if I was the owner of the computer. I laughed knowing this was scam and her response was "what are you laughing at bitch" before hanging up on me.

Do not answer this number.

Claimed to be Microsoft fixing PC errors.
The woman hung up when challenged about providing an IP address for verification…

Caller: Amazon... Apparently

Told me my Amazon Prime account.... Don't have an Amazon Prime account - This is a Scam

Caller: Claimed to be from TELSTRA

Saying everything that we do on our computers would be visible overseas. When asked for a Telstra staff number, they quoted a customer license number for a Debra Wilson (funny that she had an Indian accent) and then proceeded to quote a whole series of numbers..... we hung up.

Surprise surprise they didn't ring back

Received call today, hung up on. called back and it said number disconnected.

said were from microsoft. I played dumb, got transferred immediately to a supervisor. Impersonating supervisor said 'good evening'. It was morning where I was so i replied 'good morning'. Impersonating supervisor said 'why are you saying good morning' I said 'because where i am it's the morning. Impersonating supervisor abruptly hung up....
