Didn't recognise the number and they did not leave a message. I suspect it may be a scammer.

Frequent drops out before goes to message bank

Did not say anything. Suspect they are gathering information on whether you are home and potentially gender/rough age of person who picks up the phone and says ‘hello’. Creepy.

I rang from my land line private number and got a Female Asian voice calling on behalf of B??? and Breast Cancer Foundation.

They did not leave a message on my landline.

Caller: Research company.

I received a call on my mobile and did not answer and no message left.
I rang on my silent number landline and answer was pre recorded Asian female voice apologising and asking to wait for someone to talk to me.
I hung up, thinking it is one of those calls that somehow gains some form of reward for making this type of call.
