Jason from the ATO. They left the message Friday, saying the police were coming round with an arrest warrant, I am still waiting. I have had my bag packed all weekend??

Jason O'Connor calling from the Australian Taxation office about a lawship office he is saying a warrant is going to be issued. It was on my answering machine and sounds like it has been generated by an electronic synthesiser

The guy who provided this number claimed to be 'Jason Oconnor' from the ATO, when pressed for further information he provided the email address: 'email @ ato.gov.au'...... When asked for a case number and the reason he was calling, he said 'thank you, goodbye' and hung up....

I was away on holidays when this call, which was identical to the others posted, was left on my answering machine. I am still waiting for the police & warrant. The accent of the person sounded from Nigeria. They are professional scammers for sure!!!!!!

Yes James O'Connor has been leaving messages too at my house. Was home yesterday when he rang & when challenged he hung up.

What is the point of writing up our stories on this website?? If nothing is going to happen, why take the time to explain? Numbers vary between (02) 9119 2972 and (02) 8317 3262. Ombudsman needs to trace the call/s, find the so called call centre and arrest people. Then the crap will stop. Talking is just that

I HAVE HAD SIX PHONE CALLS FROM THIS PERSON CALLED JASON O "CONNOR IT IS MOST UPSETTING GETTING THESE CALLS.

Had the same Jason leave a message on our home line, re ATO and fine. also had 10 days straight of blocked number for the Solar rebate scheme. They don't listen and keep calling even when you say NO or swear at them. Sick of this, need naked DSL but wont get it cause NBN is coming (oh our area is 4 years away at current schedule)

A telephone recording with an asian mans voice said he was calling from the Aust. Taxation Office. They called me four times today with a recorded message that I will be arrested for tax evasion. They never said who they were after, so they never asked for a particular person to speak with so it sounded suspicious like a scam. The recording also said that to call back on this number (02) 9119 2972. Im sure there will be someone who will be arrested with a lawsuit but that would be these call scammers who prey on innocent people. This is a scam. Do not call the number. If you want to check anything you could always call the ATO directly and report this scam

We've had 3 of these ATO calls today saying the local police are coming out with a warrant for our arrest. Probably pointless asking but I'm due to have a baby in a few weeks is there anyway to stop the calls? We have a private number but seems to mean sh*t to these people - if only they used their powers for good and not evil

Normally we've had phone calls from this number maybe three times a week. Today so far we'v had 3! Says exactly the same as everyone else has said. Three in a week we can deal with (we always let it run through to the answering machine) but three in a day is ridiculous.

Jason O'Conner call claiming from ATO and filing a case for Tax evasion against me. When return the call, they requested TFN to verify ID before discussing the case. Background sound of the call sounded like a some form of Call centre with many conversation running in paralle.

Received a message from jason myself today. Much the same as everyone else. Scumbags!! Will wait for my visit from Police.

I just deleted 7 messages from my answering machine, all identical, all as those above and all accumulated in the lat 7-10 days. It comes up on my phone as a "Private Caller" and I let all those go through to my answering machine.
