I don't answer any number I don't have in my list. If it's that important they can leave a message. If they ring 3 times without a message, well, they get the golden ticket to my sh*tllist...my blocked list is growing every day.

Missed call from this ny=umber at 2:10pm on Thursday 22nd April 2021

Caller: (02) 9119 2586

Came up on my mobile as Samsung Electronics Australia and as we have a number of Samsung products in my business, I answered. Instead it was an overseas caller speaking very poor English offering offshore property management admin services (we are a real estate office). Told them not interested and hung up. 10 minutes later the same number came up but without the Samsung name tag????. Have now blocked

Definitely called from overseas - Purporting to be conducting research on behalf of New York Times about superannuation - scam

Telstra would have given them this number so they should who it is and then together with the police do something about it.

They are still at it. Thanks for the comments. Number is now blocked. This is the third number I have blocked in the last 24 hrs. If they don’t leave a message it has to be dodgy.

Said he was conducting a survey. He knew my name. When asked where he got my name and number from the call started to "break up"...... after about 10 seconds there was another voice that had been modulated or altered in some way.... said some weird things and then did an :evil laugh"...... exactly how you would expect out of a horror movie. Was an extremely weird experience and would have been quite frightening if I had not looked up this web page to find 23 pages of complaints.....

Clearly a sicko.....

They are so dumb - if the number is BLOCKED why would you keep ringing it??????

I had a call from this number on my wife's phone. (02) 9119 2586, from a man with Indian accent claiming to be from NAB, wanting to know if I would accept a deposit for $800 and something dollars from a Mr John Smith in the United States of America.
I responded it was illegal to make sales calls to this number, he hung up immediately!!!

It is better to just block the number. When you return the call and then press 2 to delete it just tells the scammer that they have a connected number and your nuisance calls will increase. I blocked the number about 20 this year!

Caller: International Media Group

Asked for me by name. They claimed to be from "International Media Group", or something like that. He wanted me to do a survey to gauge consumer confidence.

I asked where they got my details from, and they said it came from "one of their affiliated media publications, Dunn and Bradstreet".

I then said, "I thought Dunn and Bradstreet was a debt collector". He immediately hung up.

Not sure if it was a legit survey, but this was a survey call at best, and possibly a scam based on the fact he hung up the moment I questioned his legitimacy.

They rang saying they wanted to talk about my book. LOL I have never written a book and said so then they hung up

then they just ring you with a different number. Looks like they have access to infinitive numbers.

I blocked it. Very annoying person with accent.

Has rung everday for the last week, will not answer as it is an 02 number.
